EastEnders’ Letitia Dean shows off her stunning figure after dropping four dress sizes

She has played Sharon Watts on EastEnders on and off since 1985.

And Letitia Dean once again has fans talking as she is currently showing off her incredible transformation on the show.

The 55-year-old soap opera star is said to have dropped four dress sizes in four months after going through a weight loss process.

Many fans were quick to notice the change as well, taking to Twitter to comment on Letitia’s appearance while watching the long-running soap.

‘I’m so intrigued, I need Sharon’s (EastEnders) weight loss secret. She looks amazing!’ wrote a fan.

Letitia has looked noticeably thinner since she returned to the screens during the soap opera in recent months.

And many fans took to Twitter to point out the shining star, as one wrote: “I need to go on Letitia Dean’s diet.” She looks amazing.’

“Congratulations Sharon on losing so much weight #EastEnders,” another echoed.

A third fan added: ‘Letitia Dean has lost so much weight she looks amazing. Very well done to her’.

The actress is said to have gone from 10.4 pounds to 8.3 pounds last year, dropping four dress sizes.

Speaking on the EastEnders spinoff show Secrets from the Square in 2020, Letitia opened up about the cruel comments she’s received over the years about her appearance.

She revealed, “I was told a lot of horrible things about me: ‘She’s too fat, the other actors complain that they can’t fit on the same set with her.'”

During her six-year break from EastEnders, the actress decided to focus on her health and enlisted her EastEnders co-star Charlie Brooks and Natalie Cassidy’s trainer.

Wow: In 2008, during her six-year break from EastEnders, the actress decided to focus on her health, dropping two stones and releasing a workout DVD.

She also released an exercise DVD in 2008, called ‘Letitia Dean’s Lean Routine’.

While Letitia has also previously admitted to trying a variety of diets, she explained to the Daily Record in 2009: “I would do fad diets like Atkins or just eat eggs.” The effect was great, even if my breath smelled bad.

“I would lose a stone in a couple of weeks, but I would gradually go back to my old ways and put everything back on.”

Sharon is one of the original EastEnders characters and appeared in the first episode in February 1985.

She was introduced as the adopted daughter of Den and Angie Watts and later became Queen Victoria’s landlady.
