EastEnders’ Kim Fox is jailed in chaotic court scenes as she suffers panic attack

EastEnders’ Kim Fox was jailed for contempt of court as she suffered a panic attack during Monday’s tense episode.

On the morning of her sentencing, Kim was in a state of great anxiety, as Howie and Denise tried to reassure her, but a terrified Kim insisted she go to jail.

Meanwhile, Howie privately tells Denise that they can’t afford counseling for Kim, but she desperately needs it.

Denise hands over £500 from her and Jack’s joint account to fund the sessions.

And when her husband Jack sees that the money is missing from their account, he hits the roof.

At court, a nervous Denzel makes his statement, but when the prosecution plays footage of the accident, Kim has a full-blown panic attack.

The bailiff grabbed Kim and the judge ordered her to calm down before telling her she was in contempt of court.

Denise and Howie begged Kim’s lawyer to speak up and he reported her illness to the judge, but while they waited for confirmed medical evidence, the judge ordered Kim taken down and taken into custody.

The family looked sad when they saw Kim being taken away.

It comes after Denzel Danes had to fight for his life in the latest EastEnders episode after Kim Fox crashed her new car.

Mitch (Roger Griffiths) was the first to see the crash and quickly called an ambulance, and with the help of the emergency services, Kim (Tameka Empson) got free, but Denzel (Jaden Ladega) was trapped.

While Kim regained consciousness, Denzel did not and was rushed to hospital, with his father Howie (Delroy Atkinson) there to support him.

Howie was heartbroken remembering the last time he had spoken to Denzel, while Kim confronted Denise about what really caused the crash.

A doctor then told the family: ‘There is no brain injury, but there is a lot of internal bleeding and the blood pressure is low.

“We urgently need to operate. We’ll do everything we can. We’re about to take him to the theater, if you want to see him.”

It comes after Kim found out the truth about sister Denise’s affair with Ravi Gulati while driving her new car.

When messages started appearing on Denise’s phone, which Kim accidentally had, it became clear that her sister had been cheating on husband Jack Branning.

The messages read, “So you unblock me now!” You can’t talk to me like that. You are the married one. You are the cheat’

Denise came to the hospital to check on Kim, but her sister snapped that the reason for the crash was her discovering the truth.

Kim yelled, “He was your Valentine’s kiss, he wasn’t, how long?”

Denise burst into tears and said, “So we kissed.” It was Jack, he was all about Amy.’

Kim joked, “So you’re blaming Amy for this?”

Denise added, “No, but Ravi would watch out for me. I didn’t sleep with him. We went to a hotel room, we didn’t, I couldn’t, I went home to Jack. I love Jack.’

She also explained that Ravi was now blackmailing her to get police evidence for him.
