In EastEnders, Jay Brown will get down on one knee to propose to his terminally ill girlfriend Lola Pearce in what will be some truly emotional years.

While on Coronation Street, Tyrone Dobbs will surprise his fiancée Fiz Stape with a surprise wedding on Christmas Day as the couple finally walk down the aisle after 21 years together.

A source previously told him Sun from the story: ‘EastEnders fans will support Lola to be happy after the traumatic news that she is dying of a brain tumor. The highly charged scenes will be a big hit.’

Lola is reportedly set to marry her love after learning that the operation to remove her brain tumor was unsuccessful.

News of Lola’s departure was first revealed in June when the bosses described their intent to kill her with “grace and care”.
