EastEnders fans claim they discovered Reiss’s real identity after the dark twist is revealed: “Is he an undercover psycho?”

EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve uncovered the truth about Reiss Colwell’s sinister past, following a dark new twist.

After years of being unlucky in love, Sonia thought she had finally found her dream man when she met the accountant earlier this year, but viewers are starting to notice cracks in his sweet facade.

Reiss previously told Sonia that his wife was in a coma and living in a nursing home and unable to move or communicate, but now fans are beginning to mistrust his story.

At the end of Thursday’s episode, viewers saw Reiss drain his wife’s bank account, after he and Sonia decided to have a child through IVF and insisted he had the money to pay for it.

Reiss previously claimed he was infertile and even accused Sonia of cheating on him when she got pregnant.

Fans are now wondering if Reiss is lying about his wife’s comatose state, with someone even tipping him to become the soap’s next big villain.

One tweeted, “Reiss draining his comatose wife’s bank account to pay for IVF with Sonia just seems so icky.”

Added a second: “Stealing from your comatose wife… Bugger off Reiss.. #eastenders.”

“Reiss is actually a toxic man. so he gets with Sonia, has sex with her while married to a comatose woman mind you, then he asks Sonia to go to the hospital and sit with her because he couldn’t and now he steals the money from his wife to try to have a baby with Sonia #EastEnders,” a third posted.

One fan posted, “Aw no reiss using his wife’s money for a baby with someone else don’t say he has a dark side #eastenders.”

“Wouldn’t it be a twist if the hemorrhage in Reiss’s wife’s brain was somehow caused by Reiss and it wasn’t a stroke and he becomes the next undercover psychopath?” one shared.

Viewers will have to wait and see if Reiss is really honest with Sonia about his comatose wife.

It comes after soap fans accused Coronation Street of copying EastEnders with its latest new OnlyFans plot.

In the new storyline, Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan Connor on the soap, reveals the world of online sex work and opens his own account on the adult content sharing site.

The plot is not unlike EastEnders, where Stacey Slater set up her account to solve her money problems.

The mother-of-two, played by Lacey Turner, turned to the raunchy photo-sharing site to earn extra cash, as her van hadn’t brought in enough income.

One viewer took to social media in the wake of Corrie’s new plot writing, “The only problem with this is that EastEnders literally have the same sort of storyline with Stacey Slater.”

They continued, “Okay Freddie started it on EE by selling foot pictures, which got Stacey into the “OnlyFans” thing, resulting in her being stalked by Theo.

This Corrie version of it will only go one way in the end and that’s Ryan too, he’s going to be chased by a “fan”.

Meanwhile, Stacey’s OnlyFans drama went from bad to worse after she got caught in the middle of a stalker scandal.
