EastEnders fans are convinced unexpected Walford resident will be framed for Christmas Day murder in shock twist while body disposal blunder leaves them flabbergasted
EastEnders viewers were convinced a Walford resident would be in line to be charged with the Christmas Day murder.
Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was murdered after being stabbed and Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was attacked on Monday as EastEnders storyline The Six, first teased in February this year, reached a climax.
Six of Walford's matriarchs; Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) became embroiled in a series of events that led to Keanu's downfall.
In addition to Keanu and Nish, several men were teased as potential victims before Christmas, with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Tom 'Rocky' Cotton (Brian Conley), Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) involved.
During Tuesday's episode, the six ladies were seen at the Queen Vic wrapping Keanu's body in a tarpaulin and heavy duty tape before dragging him away to be buried under the floorboards of the burnt-out cafe after he was stabbed by Linda.

Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was killed after being stabbed by Linda during Monday's Christmas Day episode
The matriarchs carried Keanu's body out the front door of the pub, much to the astonishment of viewers, who were convinced someone must have spotted them from elsewhere in Albert Square.
Moments before they disposed of Keanu's body, a drunken Rocky was seen stumbling across the square before heading to the pub where he thought there was a lock.
He knocked on the back door before speaking to Linda, who quickly sent him away, but the scene left some soap fans convinced that this moment meant he was in line to take the blame for the murder.
On Twitter, one person wrote, “I wonder if Rocky will be framed now that he's surfaced,” while someone else posted, “Is Rocky going in and ends up being framed in the storyline or something?”
Someone else posted: “I think Rocky is being framed because he punched Nish somehow!”
While someone else said: 'Rocky stumbles into the pub and gets blamed.'
Predicting that the character will leave her soap, someone else commented: 'Rocky gets the blame for this. That's his exit,” while someone else commented, “Fffs here comes loser Rocky. Let him take the blame for being homeless and at least he'll have a bed for life.'
Someone else wrote, “I think Rocky is taking the blame for Nish's attack to protect Kathy. The motive is due to Nish's constant blackmail for knowing about his gambling and the cafe, which affected his relationship with Kathy. He may also be punished for arson.'

Meanwhile, many viewers found it unbelievable that the women were able to carry Keanu's corpse out of the pub and into the square without any witnesses.
One person wrote on Twitter: 'This is Walford. I honestly believe SOMEONE must have seen them dragging this body out together. And whoever it is, he's hiding in the shadows for now.”
Someone else said: 'There's no way someone won't click on it as you leave the main entrance of the Vic on the square.'
Another person exclaimed: 'Please for the love of God tell me they don't take it out the front door of the pub where anyone could see?!!!???!!'
While someone else asked: 'No CCTV on the square at all?'
“The way they just carry a body across the square,” another viewer laughed, while someone else commented: “Carrying a dead body out the front doors of The Vic hoping no one will see.”
Linda stabbed Keanu after he tried to strangle Sharon (pictured) to death during Monday's episode
Another unconvinced viewer wrote: 'Yes, it's completely believable that they could lift and carry a man's dead corpse so easily. This is pure comedy right now and I'm loving every second of it.”
Towards the end of Monday's episode, the women drank at the Queen Vic pub in Albert Square before inviting Nish to talk things out with Suki.
Things got physical when Nish tried to take Suki out of the pub and Denise responded by hitting him over the head with a bottle.
This action was initially believed to have killed him, but after Suki performed CPR, she managed to get him breathing again and told the others that he was still alive, whereupon she discovered Keanu on the ground.
He had been stabbed by Linda after he entered the pub and strangled Sharon because he thought she had killed Nish.
Things were also heated between the two, as Sharon had told him earlier in the episode that he was not biologically related to their son Albie.

She revealed the news after the couple's wedding was disrupted when Phil Mitchell walked out and told Sharon that her husband-to-be was the person behind the kidnapping of their young son.
To tease the festive episode, the British soap had aired a first-of-its-kind flash-forward scene earlier this year on February 20, offering viewers a glimpse into the Christmas Day 2023 storyline.
The clip showed a shocked-looking Sharon with blood on her wedding dress, taking the unknown man's pulse before exclaiming: “He's dead.”
EastEnders continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
