Dean continued, “I will keep all the great memories we shared and while I understand the circle of life means everyone will feel this pain at some point in their lives, life can be very cruel at times.
“Knowing that I will never be able to physically see or speak to her again is beyond any pain I have ever experienced in my life.
“We all flippantly tell our parents and loved ones we love them at the end of a phone call, but please tell them you really love them…put that phone down when you’re with them because my mom’s only criticism on me was that I was on my phone when I was in her company. Life really does change from minute to minute.
He added, “I really love you mom, not only do you have a special place in my heart, you are my heart.
“For anyone who knew her, I don’t need to remind you who my mother was as a person to others who don’t, she was the most amazing selfless, caring, generous soul to ever walk the earth. Mom, I really love you.’
