EastEnders bring back a THIRD dead character in a week as Lola Pearce appears in a surprise plot twist – after Cindy Beale and Fatboy make an unlikely return from the grave

EastEnders have brought back another dead character for a surprise cameo: their third of the week.

After Ricky Norwood reprized his role as the beloved Fatboy Chubb and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) returned from witness protection, Lola Pearce is next to return to the screens.

Lola, played by Danielle Harold, passed away from terminal brain cancer in May as part of a heartbreaking storyline in the BBC soap opera.

The heartbreaking plot ended when her husband Jay (Jamie Borthwick) and daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) hugged Lola after she died in her sleep.

And before her death, Lola made arrangements to ensure that Lexi would still grow up with her mother.

Return: EastEnders have brought back another dead character for a surprise cameo: their third of the week

On Monday’s upcoming episode, Lexi sits down with Ben (Max Bowden) to watch a video message from Lola, who made sure she gave advice before Lexi’s first day of high school.

Lola will remind Lexi to be nice at her new school and to always do her best.

She then tells her that she is there mentally every step of the way, and that she loves her very much.

Lola then ends the conversation by blowing a kiss to the camera, while Ben and Lexi do the same.

Lola’s return comes after the BBC One soap welcomed two other characters from the dead.

Last week, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) moved back to Walford after it was revealed she hadn’t died 20 years ago.

Cindy was back from the dead, living with her former husband Ian and their son Peter in France.

It later transpired that Cindy had been living in witness protection for the past 25 years and was given the alias Rose Knight.

Viewers thought Cindy “died” in childbirth in 1998 after being carted off to prison for trying to kill her hapless husband Ian.

Meanwhile, another legendary EastEnders character made a surprise return in flashback scenes from 2014.

On Tuesday night’s episode, Ricky Norwood reprized his role as the beloved Arthur “Fatboy” Chubb after he was killed eight years ago.

Fatboy died under horrific circumstances in the Christmas 2015 storyline where the character was killed in a car in a case of mistaken identity.

He died offscreen after Ronnie Mitchell arranged for her enemy Vincent Hubbard to be sent to the car crusher, but Fatboy accidentally got stuck in the trunk and was killed instead.

But the character reappeared on the soap in 2014 flashback scenes, depicting the moment when Cindy made a secret visit to Albert Square with her witness protection officer after learning daughter Lucy had been killed.
