Two earthquakes rock Aussie mining town of Port Hedland in Western Australia

An Australian mining company has been rocked by two earthquakes within five hours.

The first earthquake, measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, struck Port Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region at 8.44am on Wednesday.

At 1:20 p.m., a second earthquake with a magnitude of 2.8 was registered off the coast.
