Eamonn Holmes hits back at fans as he shares a selfie revealing his new look after being accused of sharing an old picture
Eamonn Holmes’ followers were shocked on Thursday when he shared a selfie revealing his new look on Instagram.
The 64-year-old GB News presenter uploaded the early morning photo from the front seat of his car before traveling to Birmingham.
He looked sultry at the camera while wearing a navy blue quarter-zip sweater and tucked in a pair of sunglasses.
He wrote: “Departing at 5:30pm…. We are now driving through a beautiful sunny Birmingham.
However, when several fans complimented the presenter on his clean-shaven look, several followers claimed he had shared an old photo.

He wrote: ‘Departing at 5:30pm…. Now driving through a beautiful sunny Birmingham’
‘No current photo; Yep, I thought I’d seen it before! the last I saw of him was not very flattering at all, he looked very old; Same photo as July 11th, right? was it really that sunny today?’
Others disagreed, writing: ‘Nice photo; TV legend. Looks good; Looking good! Have a nice day Eamonn’.
An hour after sharing the first selfie, Eamonn hit back at fans by sharing a second photo from his car while eating a bacon sandwich, proving the selfie wasn’t old.
He wrote: ‘Stopped at The Services – Bacon cap breakfast incoming!’
One fan asked: ‘Do we REALLY need to see this?’, to which Eamonn replied: ‘I’m only doing it because some people think I’m posting old pictures!’
It comes after Eamonn revealed he can ‘no longer walk or look after himself’ in a candid new video.
After having surgery on his back in 2022 for a herniated disc, the GB News presenter is unable to walk unassisted and often relies on a wheelchair.
Eamonn took to Instagram alongside Jo O’Meara from S Club 7, who contacted him after hearing about his spine problems two years ago, as she had suffered the same crippling pain.

The former This Morning presenter emotionally revealed he can no longer look after himself – amid his new relationship with Katie Alexander, 42.
It comes after the Mail reported that Ruth removed the stairlift from their £3.5million Surrey home. The couple announced their divorce earlier this year after fourteen years of marriage.
Ruth installed the stairlift in January 2023 to help him get to bed as he was struggling with chronic back pain from hernias and a dislocated pelvis. He had had surgery four months earlier, but still needed help around the house.
Shortly afterwards, family friend and TV host Rylan Clark visited the now estranged couple’s home. He posted a video of himself walking up the stairs.
In the emotional video, Eamonn admits his former days of independence have come to an end as he begged his followers to adopt a dog while petting Bella.
Eamonn, who used to share a rescue dog, Maggie, with his ex-wife Ruth, also revealed that losing his ability to walk also had an impact.
He captioned the clip: “Think about giving Bella a home. If I could walk and take care of myself, she would be mine, but instead you could be me.
“Talk to @TheK9Angels. Absolutely beautiful Doggie.’
His honest confession received support from his followers as his fans flocked to his comment box.
