Eamonn Holmes hints at their daytime feud on ITV while making a cryptic comment
Eamonn Holmes appeared to double down on his previous fights on Wednesday while hosting GB News.
The announcer, 63, referred to some of his past fights and revealed that there are people who are “dead to me”, since he assured that it was “good that people did not like it.”
It comes as the presenter has made no secret of his feelings towards ITV and his former This Morning co-stars Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, after he and his wife Ruth Langsford were kicked out of the morning show.

Speaking about Shakira’s new ‘revenge track’ on her ex Gerard Piqué, the presenter’s co-host Isabel Webster claimed that Eamonn has made up with everyone he’s fallen out with.
She told him: ‘You make a good game about this. You do, you talk a good game about it, but really, everyone in your life that you’ve had ding dongs with in the past, you’re on good terms now when I think about it.
And while the Belfast native admitted he is willing to “forgive and forget” in some cases, there are others he won’t budge from.
Recalling his feud with Anthea Turner, whom GMTV introduced from 1994 to 1996, Eamonn admitted that they had buried the hatchet.

“Like Anthea Turner, I’m prepared to forgive, forget,” Eamonn said, while Isobel nodded, “Yeah, look, I think you’re pretty good at getting through fights.”
But the presenter did not entirely agree, continuing: “No, but there are other people who are dead to me, who have names I can’t reveal.”
‘Let’s not go in there,’ Isobel said as she closed the conversation.
But eager to have a last word, he added: ‘That’s the thing, I think once you cross that… well, there are evil people.
She told him: ‘You make a good game about this. You do, you talk a good game about it, but really’
New gig: Eamonn joined GB news in late 2021, after being fired from This Morning
‘Let’s face it, there are evil people, there are. And in the fight against good and evil – that I am good – um, yes, the only enemy you want is a defeated enemy.’
Despite not revealing who he was referring to during the news programme, Eamonn has detailed his conflict with ITV on numerous occasions over the past year.
He and his wife Ruth hosted the Friday slot on This Morning for 14 years, before they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in 2021.
And last year, he lashed out on the show, claiming he hadn’t been “treated with respect.”
Buried the hatchet: Eamonn admitted he has made amends with his former co-host Anthea Turner
In an interview with The Guardian over the weekend, he called the broadcaster “cunning” and accused it of hypocrisy over its diversity campaign.
Eamonn said: ‘I joined GB News because the options dried up. The ‘wrong age’, at the ‘wrong stage’: At some point it becomes very difficult to get a job.
It was obvious that I no longer checked the ITV boxes and I was not treated with respect there.
“It was a question of self-esteem. You think “nah, I’m out of here, bye!” So that was it. And nothing has changed: I play what I do well.’
In a further dig at ITV, Eamonn added that GB News had been “very welcoming” and he felt “nice to be appreciated”.

While he took a further hit on the show’s hosts Holly and Phil last year during their queue scandal.
The duo were accused of skipping the line at Westminster Hall in London last week as tens of thousands of mourners waited patiently for 12 straight hours to pay their respects to Her Majesty.
And Eamonn did not hide the fact that he did not believe his former colleagues, saying that they “got it wrong.”
Speaking to presenter Clare Muldoon, Eamonn said: ‘I’ll tell you what’s strategic. Why is Holly fighting to keep her job, according to The Sun, but Mr Phillip not?
Bridges burned? He even hit out at former colleagues Holly and Phil last year during their queue scandal.
Clare replied: ‘Who knows? Twitter last night said she didn’t want to leave her job at This Morning.
Who wouldn’t want to give up £600,000 a year and everything that comes with it? I think the brand is badly damaged. There has to be a top-down change in This Morning.
Referring to a photo of Holly wearing a mask inside Westminster Hall, Clare asked: ‘Why was she wearing a mask? Is she allergic to the public?
Eamonn replied: ‘No, she does that. “Holly is crying” but Holly is always crying. But wearing a mask, I think she’s quite fearful, germophobic.
Criticism: Speaking on GB News Breakfast, Eamonn, didn’t mince words about the fact that he didn’t believe his former colleagues, saying they “got it wrong.”
