Eamonn was left reeling after his GB News co-star Isabel was fired just before Christmas.

A TV source said Eamonn is ‘gutted’ by the news that he has already presented his final show with Isabel.

The insider said The sun: ‘Eamonn has loved working with Isabel over the years and as a duo they are incredibly popular with viewers. They both fully expected to reunite in 2025 after doing their last show of the year yesterday.

‘It was a real shock for everyone involved. Eamonn is devastated and the fact that he is blinded has made it even worse.

Isabel has been a tremendous source of comfort to him during a terribly difficult year after his divorce from Ruth [Langsford]. He’s still reeling from the news.’

‘From Mark [Dolan] the ratings weren’t good,” said the same source, but added that his Saturday night show was up against Strictly Come Dancing.

As news of Isabel’s departure spread, Eamonn shared a photo of them together on his Instagram Story.

Mark Dolan is out and Jacob Rees-Mogg has seen his hours halved

Isabel had previously posted a photo of the pair on the Breakfast Show, writing: ‘Last show of ours for 2024.

‘Thank you for your company this year. See you soon!

“Merry Christmas – I hope you all find some peace and joy.”

An insider said his flip-flops on Brexit over the years had not helped him with bosses and some viewers.

Former Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg is another GB News presenter affected by changes at the channel.

He presented his State of the Nation program four evenings a week: on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

But now he only broadcasts on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Mark and Isabel have been asked for comment by Ny Breaking. Jacob has also been approached.
