Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are reportedly trying to finalize their divorce quickly in the new year.
The GB News presenter, 65, and Loose Women panelist, 64, announced their plans to divorce in June after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together.
Eamonn has since been dating consultant Katie Alexander, 43, since his split from Ruth and has reportedly spoken openly about his hopes of tying the knot.
And now it has been revealed that Eamonn and Ruth are hoping to settle their divorce soon – with Ruth getting to keep their £3.5million Surrey mansion.
“The aim is for Eamonn and Ruth to resolve their divorce as soon as possible in the new year,” a source told The Sun.
‘Ruth would like to stay in their marital home because that is where she is based. Eamonn, on the other hand, wants to get out and make a fresh start.

It comes hours after Eamonn sparked speculation he is engaged to Katie after she was spotted wearing a large ring on her engagement finger during a romantic getaway to Paris last week.
“Eamonn has spoken openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her,” a source said. The sun.

Eamonn’s estranged wife Ruth was reportedly left shocked by the outing, with the Ibiza holiday taking place just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing.

The divorce lawyer was once a student of ‘Steel Magnolia’ Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain’s leading divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his divorce from Diana in 1996.
Baroness Shackleton has also collaborated with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna.
She was once doused with water in court by an irate Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple’s divorce in 2008.
