Eamonn Holmes is said to have whisked his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, away on a lavish holiday after he and Ruth Langsford split.
The 64-year-old presenter and his estranged wife Ruth, also 64, announced in May that they were divorcing after 14 years of marriage. It later emerged that he was in a relationship with the blonde relationship therapist, 42.
Now a source has said The sun about their luxurious getaway: ‘The cruise is yet another proof of their close bond.
‘Katie has been telling her friends that she and Eamonn will be together forever, and now everyone is starting to believe her.
“Eamonn’s enthusiasm for her — the last one was this all-inclusive trip — has blown Ruth and his friends away. He’s definitely found a new life. Everyone’s amazed.”
The romantic vacation left Ruth and her closest friends bewildered,

It’s not the first time the couple have travelled this month, with Eamonn taking his girlfriend Katie to his hometown of Belfast as they claim they are ‘in it for the long haul’.
Eamonn is currently on summer break from his GB News Breakfast show and will return next week.
During his time off, he was spotted by Carrickfergus locals eating at the same budget restaurant, Papa Browns, for four days in a row, The Sun reports.
An employee of the American restaurant told the publication: ‘He came four days in a row. I noticed his girlfriend had an English accent. They looked happy.’
They continued: ‘He looked quite weak and it took us a while to recognise him, but he was always very polite and friendly.
‘They both seemed comfortable being seen together. Eamonn really enjoyed it.’
He will make his comeback on GB News Breakfast next week, alongside co-host Isabel Webster, who presented the show solo during his time off, the Express reports.
Eamonn is reportedly head over heels for Katie and their relationship has ‘taken it to the next level’, MailOnline previously revealed.
It comes after Eamonn previously took his girlfriend Katie to his hometown of Belfast amid claims they were ‘in it for the long haul’
Katie, 42, is said to be desperate to make their romance public, but the TV presenter, 64, has delayed announcing the news to protect his estranged wife’s feelings.
Friends say they now spend most weekends together at his Richmond apartment after his marriage to Ruth fell apart.
Eamonn and Katie are torn about when to go public with their relationship, after reportedly being offered ‘a lot of money’ for the official first photos of them together.
The source told us: ‘They got paid a tidy sum for the first photos of them together.
‘Katie and Eamonn are definitely in it for the long haul. She says she loves him and he loves her.’
As for his health issues, a source recently told The Mirror: ‘He’s doing as well as he can under the current circumstances, but there’s not much to smile about.’
‘He doesn’t want to do interviews but is keeping a low profile. He is doing his job at GB News and is undergoing physiotherapy to improve his mobility.’
In 2016, Eamonn underwent a three-and-a-half hour double hip replacement surgery after living with acute pain for years.
Speaking about his surgery at the time, Eamonn said: ‘Was I nervous? No! It was like being on TV. In the run-up to it I was stressed – can I do this? Am I going to cope?’
Two years later, Eamonn described his battle with shingles and how he contracted the virus on his son Declan’s wedding day.

During an appearance on Loose Women in September 2021, he spoke about the health issues that prevented him from working on This Morning three years ago.
He also shared photos of his swollen face, covered in scars and scabs, during his fight.
Shingles is a viral rash caused by the varicella zoster virus, the virus that causes chickenpox, reactivated. In the UK, 90 per cent of adults have had chickenpox, so this virus will be dormant in their nervous system.
His years of chronic back pain started in the spring of 2021 – and came completely out of nowhere.
The pain became so severe that Eamonn became dependent on a walking stick, but he soon discovered the cause.
He eventually discovered that it was three hernias that were affecting the movement of his right leg.
