Eamonn Holmes, 64, is ‘consoled by blonde divorcee in her 40s who is a relationship counsellor’ amid shock split from wife Ruth Langsford
Eamonn Holmes has reportedly been comforted over the break-up of his marriage by a blonde divorcee in her 40s who is also a relationship therapist.
The TV presenter, 64, and Ruth Langsford, also 64, recently revealed they are heading for divorce after work commitments ‘sent their marriage in a different direction’.
According to The sunEamonn has become close to an unknown woman since last year after they first came into contact several years ago.
The broadcaster is said to have taken the woman on trips, including a visit to a safari park, and reportedly spoiled her with gifts. It is not said that she is the reason for the breakup of the marriage.
He also has supported a charity related to her work and helped organize a fundraising event for free.

The woman’s name has never been mentioned, with Eamonn careful not to reveal it on social media, and the publication reported that Ruth was apparently unaware of their encounters until recently.
Sources told the newspaper that Eamonn treated his close friend to several extravagant days out, including a Beyonce concert, a visit to Center Parcs last year and tickets to see his favorite team Man United play at Old Trafford.
They explained: ‘Ruth was clearly aware that her marriage was crumbling, but as details come to light, her anger has turned to rage.

The pair met via Twitter after the woman replied to a message and it sparked a conversation between the pair.
Friends explained that the woman’s counseling skills include dealing with “feeling sad” and “separation and divorce.” Therefore, it seems fitting that she will support Eamonn during this time of uncertainty.
MailOnline has contacted Eamonn’s representatives for comment.
However, while Eamonn is getting close to another woman, Ruth was still seen wearing her wedding ring when she appeared on QVC on Thursday.

However, while Eamonn is getting close to another woman, Ruth was spotted still wearing her wedding ring as she appeared on QVC on Thursday while she was in good spirits.
Ruth appeared live on QVC Shopping to promote her clothing range and was seen still wearing her wedding ring, despite the couple’s shock split.
Ruth looked radiant at the show as she donned a pink cricket-style jumper and white trousers, along with a pair of sandals.
It was just hours after an old clip of Eamonn resurfaced in January in which he said he might one day move back to Northern Ireland and marry a ‘local girl’.
Speaking on NVTVs Conversations with Gerry Kelly in January, Eamonn spoke movingly about his three years from hell, during which he lost his mother, job, his beloved home in Belfast and now his wife Ruth.
The presenter said his home will always be in Belfast and he may one day return to Northern Ireland.
He said: ‘Ruth would not return to Northern Ireland. Yes, because of her family and also because she’s English and she sees life around London and all that, while I can’t stand London. So we have a different view on those kinds of things.’
Eamonn then reflected on a future without his wife, adding: ‘Maybe Ruth gets hit by a bus or something, who knows?
‘If I get another woman, I might come back, find a girl from the area. That’s terrible to hear that Ruth is being run over by a bus, that’s terrible.’
The couple tied the knot in 2010 after 13 years together – and said they are ‘determined to remain friends’ despite their split.
It brings an end to one of Britain’s best-known TV power couples after 27 years together, 14 of them married.
