In a scary moment, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown was nearly hit by a car at a charity bike event.

The All-Pro wideout raced in the sixth annual Eagles Autism Challenge bike ride and broadcast the event while riding.

As the receiver passed an intersection, you could hear people yelling “woah!” in the background. and ‘hey!’.

Then Brown’s phone seems to fall on the road and then grinds to a stop as he looks up at some power lines.

Afterwards, Brown tweeted to his fans to let them know he was fine and there were no injuries.

Brown was on IG Live during the event, until he dropped his phone to avoid the collision

But the recipient is fine and unharmed – he tweeted the same day that he was fine

Brown also stoked the fire of the rivalry with the Cowboys, joking that a Dallas fan might be behind it

“Everything is going well,” the recipient wrote. “Someone was running along the stop side [angry face emoji].’

“I didn’t fall off my bike, I just dropped my phone and got out of the way. Stay safe everyone.’

In a later tweet, the two-time Pro-Bowler jokingly accused a Cowboys fan of being behind it all, as he claimed, “I think I saw a star on the license plate.”

While it’s unlikely that any Cowboys Nation member deliberately tried to hit on Brown, the prank sparked a rivalry that lasted until the last day of last year’s regular season.

Dallas and Philadelphia battled for the top spot in the NFC East in the 2022 season, and the Eagles eventually won it.

Brown earned a Pro-Bowl and second-team All-Pro selection after catching 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2022.

As for the charity event itself, the Eagles say they raised $6.2 million for autism research and care programs.
