Eagles troll Travis Kelce over Taylor Swift and brother Jason ahead of showdown against the Chiefs

Ahead of Monday night’s mega-game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles targeted Travis Kelce with a social media post.

The Eagles account on X posted a photo of the Chiefs kissing his older brother and Eagles center Jason Kelce on the cheek.

The photo was captioned: “One of these guys is a finalist for Sexiest Man Alive and the other is dating an Eagles fan.”

Travis has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift, who was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, since September. Over the summer, Swift was spotted in New York City wearing an Eagles sweatshirt.

Earlier this month, Jason was named one of PEOPLE Magazine’s Sexiest Men of 2023, featuring Grey’s anatomy star Patrick Dempsey takes home top honors.

The elder Kelce has played for the Eagles since 2011, which is his entire professional career

The Chiefs and Eagles will play in a Super Bowl LVII rematch on Monday night in the biggest game of the NFL regular season to date.

Philadelphia is 8-1 and has the best record of any team in the league. Kansas City enters the game 7-2 and is currently the top team in the AFC.

After Kelce attended one of Swift’s South American concerts as part of The Eras Tour, she was seen leaving the stage, running into his arms and giving him a huge kiss.

Kelce was also spotted alongside Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, at the concert, while the elder Swift wore a Chiefs lanyard.

Both of the couple’s parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, as well as Ed and Donna Kelce, are expected to be at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City for the big game.

Swift had concerts in Rio de Janeiro this weekend, one of which was moved from Saturday to Monday night due to the extreme heat and she will not make the trip from Brazil to Missouri for the clash.

Swift’s Eagles fandom goes beyond a one-off outfit. She was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and confirmed during a concert in May that she has been a fan of the team for some time.

“I have a lyric that says, ‘With my Eagles t-shirt hanging on the door,'” Swift told the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field, home of Philadelphia’s professional football franchise.

“I saw some people wondering if it was the band The Eagles or the team The Eagles, and I love the band The Eagles. But guys, come on. I’m from Philly. Of course it’s the team,” Swift added.

Her next show on the tour isn’t until February 7 in Japan, four days before Super Bowl LVIII.

While loyalties may change, it appears the Eagles still believe Swift is part of their fandom, despite her boyfriend playing for Monday’s opponent.
