After scoring a crucial touchdown in Sunday afternoon’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles wideouts DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown both failed to stick the landing on their celebration.
Brown caught a touchdown pass and then threw the ball to his friend Smith to try to dunk the football off the goalposts.
It was an attempt to recreate the famous Dwyane Wade lob for LeBron James, but this time it didn’t work.
Brown was unable to catch the ball in the air in time and his jump was short, causing him to blame Smith as they jogged to the sideline.
“You gotta work on your (alley) oop,” Brown told his fellow wide receiver.

Brown did not get enough air time on this attempt and missed the dunk
Brown (L) and Smith (R) both looked at their dunk and laughed at each other for their blunder
“Yes, you need a jumper,” Smith replied.
Greeted by coaches who laughed at him, Brown tried to save face by laughing as he said, “The whoop was bad.”
Smith heard this and said, “Bron would have caught that shit.” Brown replied, “I’m not LeBron.”
Brown led the Eagles’ receivers on the night with seven catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Smith also caught a touchdown pass – a total of three catches for 51 yards.
Philadelphia moved to 8-1 on the season with a 28-23 victory over their hated rivals at home.
