Jalen Hurts shook off any concerns about his fitness by setting up a rushing touchdown on Philly's opening drive against the Seahawks, as the Eagles quarterback recovered from illness in time to play in Seattle.
Hurts went 5-for-5 in passing before putting his team ahead with just over 6:30 left in the first quarter of Monday night's game at Lumen Field. At halftime he was 9 of 17 for 79 yards.
Hurts was listed as active just before kickoff after being listed as questionable due to an illness that prompted him to travel to the West Coast separately from his teammates.
Despite back-to-back losses, the Eagles still hold a half-game lead over Dallas in the NFC East and are in the running for the conference's top playoff seed.
With four consecutive losses, the Seattle Seahawks have gone from the top of the NFC West to needing to make up ground for a wild-card playoff berth. So there's plenty at stake in the first NFL game to be moved to Monday night.

'The fourth quarter of this season is still over for us, and we'll see if that works. I believe these guys will recover and be ready to go again. We need to get back on track.”
