Jalen Hurts shook off any concerns about his fitness by setting up a rushing touchdown on Philly's opening drive against the Seahawks, as the Eagles quarterback recovered from illness in time to play in Seattle.
Hurts went 5-for-5 in passing before putting his team ahead with just over 6:30 left in the first quarter of Monday night's game at Lumen Field. At halftime he was 9 of 17 for 79 yards.
Hurts was listed as active just before kickoff after being listed as questionable due to an illness that prompted him to travel to the West Coast separately from his teammates.
Despite back-to-back losses, the Eagles still hold a half-game lead over Dallas in the NFC East and are in the running for the conference's top playoff seed.
With four consecutive losses, the Seattle Seahawks have gone from the top of the NFC West to needing to make up ground for a wild-card playoff berth. So there's plenty at stake in the first NFL game to be moved to Monday night.

“You don't win without some kind of adversity,” Hurts told reporters before the game. “That's just the name of it. We would like to come here and be perfect. But perfection is just an illusion.'
Last month's schedule was difficult for both teams.
The Eagles defeated Kansas City and Buffalo before losing to San Francisco and Dallas, allowing the host Cowboys to move into a tie for first place in the division with a 33-13 win last Sunday night.
'We have already played many high-profile matches here and we have executed them well. I don't think it's the size,” Eagles center Jason Kelce said after his team lost three fumbles against Dallas. 'These are good teams and you can't make mistakes against good teams. We've done that way too much.'
The Eagles still have games against Seattle and Arizona and two against the New York Giants. These three teams have a combined record of 14-25.

“You can't even see that far ahead,” Eagles receiver AJ Brown said. “We're playing in Seattle this week. That's all we have to worry about.'
Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (knee), linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee) and offensive lineman Cameron Jurgens (pectoral) are all out Monday night.
The Seahawks have lost twice to the division-leading 49ers in the last three weeks, including 28-16 last Sunday in Santa Clara, California, when Drew Lock started in place of injured quarterback Geno Smith (groin). He started again against Philly on Monday night.
Seattle's skid is the longest since Pete Carroll took over as coach in 2010.
“It's a challenge at this point in the season to see if we can make the playoffs,” Carroll said after the loss to the 49ers. 'The fourth quarter of this season is still over for us, and we'll see if that works. I believe these guys will recover and be ready to go again. We need to get back on track.”
