Eagle-eyed Home and Away fans spot a wild detail in a police officer’s uniform that reveals an embarrassing secret about the show’s budget.
Home and Away fans spotted an interesting hidden detail in Monday’s episode.
The moment occurred when Justin Morgan (James Stewart) begged police officer Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) for help finding his daughter Ava (Annabel Wolfe) who has been kidnapped.
During the scene, viewers were introduced to a new cop, and while he had no lines, they were quick to notice something odd about his nameplate.
It said ‘A. Rosetta’, which was undoubtedly referring to the character of Angelo Rosetta, played by Luke Jacobz in the series from 2008 to 2011.
Luke made a guest appearance in February 2020 when Angelo investigated the murder of Ross Nixon (Justin Rosniak), but hasn’t appeared since.

In a Facebook fan group, a viewer said he suspected the new cop was related to Angelo.
However, others assumed that the producers were just recycling old props and didn’t think viewers would notice.
“Nothing like a little recycling,” said one fan.
“I guess the point is that they use the same accessory for multiple people,” added another.
It comes after longtime cast member Georgie Parker announced that she would be leaving the show for an extended break to pursue her theatrical dreams.
