Rarely seen E Street actor Marcus Graham steps out in Sydney, 34 years after making his soap opera debut as disabled heartthrob ‘Wheels’ Kovac.

Marcus Graham won the hearts of Australian viewers when he made his soap opera debut on E Street in 1989.

And the 59-year-old actor looked as handsome as ever when he stepped out in Sydney on Tuesday.

Best known for his role as disabled heartthrob Stanley ‘Wheels’ Kovac, Marcus cut a casual figure as he strolled down a downtown street.

The Picnic at Hanging Rock star, who doesn’t usually make public appearances, wore an all-blue ensemble, which included a simple T-shirt with a light jacket on top.

Marcus added a pair of navy pants and a brown belt to the ensemble, as well as a much-loved cap and sneakers.

Marcus played E Street’s most iconic character, a wheelchair-bound street rocker nicknamed ‘Wheels.’

Wheel’s romance with Lisa Bennett, played by Alyssa Jane Cook, was an epic plot point that included a daring love scene in a nude bathroom.

Marcus left the soap after just one year in 1989, but returned to his role between 1991 and 1992.

Marcus left Home And Away after his character was cut from the show, telling TV Week that he was excited to be done.

Viewers watched as Harvey’s relationship with his wife Roo (played by Georgie Parker) reached a point of no return after he returned from being lost at sea.

In recent years, he has continued to work steadily, playing Pav on the ABC TV series The Heights in 2019.
