Dystopian moment huge mob of cyclists takes over LA road then attacks car that sped around them
Horrifying images of a car driving through a residential area in Los Angeles and almost crashing into a crowd of cyclists are circulating on social media.
The video showed a white Mercedes-Benz zooming down the street dodging cyclists and even driving onto the wrong side of the road.
The vehicle swerved between the cyclists, narrowly missing them, as screams could be heard in the background.
The cyclists shouted to each other to ‘watch out’ and ‘watch out’ for the out-of-control vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz continued to drive around the motorcyclists at high speed, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic.
A separate video emerged showing the same cyclists attacking the car in a parking garage.
A crowd of people stomped on the car and smashed the windows. Another person in a gray coat fled the scene while others chased him.
It is unclear whether the person who ran away was the driver from the first video. The Los Angeles Police Department has not yet confirmed the details of the incident.

The car was spotted in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles and almost struck cyclists traveling along Olympic Boulevard.
Local residents in the area told us CBS News that it is not unusual for large groups of cyclists to cycle through the neighborhood.
Rosalina Hernandez, a local business owner, told the outlet that her customers cheered on the cyclists as they rode along the road.
‘It was quite cheerful. The customers standing outside were cheering them on and people were honking their horns,” Hernandez told CBS.
Her tone changed when she commented on the violence in the car park, calling the behavior ‘unacceptable’ and adding that it gave her ‘chills’.
Social media users had mixed reactions to the viral videos, with some defending the driver’s behavior while others sided with the bikers.
“It’s the bikers driving illegally through the streets blocking all the lanes,” read one comment, while another agreed: “The driver is a hero, we need more people like him.”

While it is unclear if anyone was injured in these videos, the incident is the latest traffic violence in Los Angeles.
