Dylan Lloyd: Child sex offender accused of raping a 12-year-old girl on an Adelaide train in broad daylight is arrested AGAIN

A convicted child molester accused of raping a girl on a train has been arrested again, this time for an alleged sexual assault on a 20-year-old woman he met on a dating app.

Dylan Lloyd, 21, was arrested again on Wednesday over the incident which allegedly occurred on July 13 last year in Aldinga, an hour south of Adelaide.

Lloyd appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court and did not apply for bail.

On Monday he faced the Christies Beach Magistrates Court to apply for bail for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old on a train earlier this month.

Dylan Lloyd, 21, was arrested again on Wednesday over the incident which allegedly occurred on July 13 last year in Aldinga, an hour south of Adelaide.

The child did not know him and the alleged incident took place in broad daylight.

During the bail hearing on Monday, the court was told that CCTV footage showed Lloyd sitting next to the girl on the train, kissing her and putting his arm around her. The Adelaide Advertiser reported

He allegedly sexually abused the child and then followed her off the train to Adelaide at Marion train station.

Police prosecutor Sally Francis told the court Lloyd was considered a ‘high risk child abuser’.

Ms Francis also told the court that Lloyd already had a conviction for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old child.

The court was told Lloyd could be linked to the alleged crime against the 12-year-old through his metroCARD, with clothing seized from his home matching CCTV footage.

Earlier this month, Lloyd allegedly raped a child and then followed her off the Adelaide-bound train at Marion train station

Ms Francis also told the court that Lloyd is being investigated over the alleged attack on a 20-year-old woman.

He had met the woman on a dating app and the court heard charges would be laid soon.

Manager of the Special Crimes Investigation Section, Detective Senior Sergeant Amanda Lewis, said the investigation into the child sex offender was ongoing.

Lloyd is scheduled to appear in court in March.
