Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson vs Roman Reigns would be the ‘BIGGEST’ matchup in wrestling, says to Jey Uso

  • WWE fans had been dreaming of seeing the legend return to WrestleMania next year
  • Reigns continues to dominate the WWE's Undisputed Heavyweight Championship

Jey Uso has revealed what he thinks about a potential clash between The Rock and Roman Reigns – and it looks like things could be very one-sided.

The 'Main Event' superstar recently enjoyed an elevated status in the WWE after headlining a Raw event and Survivor Series.

And as Roman Reigns continues to dominate in the WWE, there are suggestions that wrestling legend The Rock could be in line to face him.

Asked by Alex McCarthy of Mail Sport about this prospect, Uso said: “If I had to pick one, I would pick the Chieftain. The Rock has been out of the game for a while, the Tribal Chief knows what it is.

'I have a feeling that no one will dethrone the chief if it is not one of us in the family. I don't think there's anyone out there. Punk, Randy, it's none of them.'

Dwayne Johnson, 51, made his shock return to the ring in September after a four-year absence

When asked if he would face the Rock, he added, “I think that's what the people want, I mean, yes, I would like to interact with the Rock.

“It could work and I think it would be very entertaining. Those are the two biggest stars in our family, but we still win no matter what.”

The Main Event star also agreed that a match between the two of them “would be the biggest match in wrestling” and he would “love to see it.”

Recently, Uso faced a trademark challenge over his use of the phrase “yeet” at events.

When asked what the outcome of that will be, he said, “Yeah man, they're trying to close my yeet. But we'll get over that, I'll still be out there.”
