Dwayne The Rock Johnson Admits He Regrets Endorsing Biden in 2020 and Refuses to Endorse Him in 2024

  • Actor and wrestler said he wasn’t happy with the ‘state of America’
  • Biden’s support was the ‘best decision’ at the time, but was ‘divisive’
  • ‘Am I going to endorse this year? That answer is no.’

Dwayne The Rock Johnson has admitted that he regrets supporting Joe Biden in 2020 and that he will not support him in 2024.

The WWE legend added that he is not happy with the state of America right now and left open the chance to run for office in the future. He has now come to the conclusion that his support for Biden has led to ‘divisiveness’.

“The endorsement I made with Biden years ago was one that I thought was the best decision for me at the time,” he told Fox and Friends.

‘Now that I am participating in the elections, I realize that I will not do that. My goal is to bring this country together,” he added.

‘I will keep my politics to myself. It’s between me and the ballot box. Like many of us who don’t trust all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for is my president and whom I will support 100 percent.”

He revealed his new position in an interview on Fox News.

He was asked if he was happy with the state of America – and he said he wasn’t.

“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no. Do I believe we will get better? I believe in that, I’m an optimistic man and I believe we can get better.

He talked about the influence he had. “I thought at the time, if we’re talking about, you know, I’m in this position where I have some influence and it’s my job then, that’s how I felt at the time, it’s my job now to exert my influence and sharing with – this is who I’m going to support,” he said.

‘Am I going to do it again this year? That answer is no.’

He said he spoke publicly “to be direct, honest and transparent.”

He spoke with Fox & Friends host Will Cain about coming to grips with his own fame, which he called a “superpower.”

‘It took time to recognize that. I was against fame and didn’t understand the power of it, how it could go either way. As I got a little bit further and started to gain fame, I started to realize that this is a superpower, fame is a superpower, if I use it the right way, I believe, to influence people and to be direct and honest . ‘

He said he will keep “my politics to myself” in an effort to avoid “divisiveness” as he reflects on his past endorsement.

‘Shall I do that this year? I won’t do that. What I realize, what caused that at the time, was something that tore me apart then and now, which was division. That touched me. The conclusion that followed, months and months, I realized, caused division in our country. As I participate in these elections, I realize that I will not do that, my goal is to bring this country together.
