Dustin Martin’s stolen car has reportedly been used in a wild crime spree in Melbourne.

According to Channel Seven and News Corp, the Richmond superstar had his black Range Rover stolen last week after he lent it to a friend.

Martin’s partner reportedly stopped for petrol at the St Kilda petrol station last week and left the keys in the vehicle when he went to pay.

Having noticed that the car was unlocked, a man is believed to have jumped into the car before driving away.

The theft was immediately reported and police located the car approximately five hours later.

However, when they tried to stop him, the driver is alleged to have rammed an unmarked police car and another vehicle while trying to get away.

The alleged thief managed to flee the scene, but was subsequently caught and charged by Victoria Police.

The man, a 29-year-old from Springvale in Melbourne’s south-east, also faces additional charges after Victoria Police found illicit drugs in the vehicle.

A female accomplice has also been charged.

Martin is understood to have informed Richmond of the incident and kept the club informed throughout.
