Dune 2 hunk Josh Brolin, 56, responds to wild rumors he wants to SLEEP WITH with co-star Timothee Chalamet, 28, after he wrote THAT viral poem
Dune: Part Two hunk Josh Brolin, 56, has responded to swirling online rumors that he wants to sleep with his co-star Timothee Chalamet, 28.
Josh recently went viral for writing a poem praising the qualities of several Dune: Part Two actors, including Timothee, Zendaya, and Florence Pugh.
But the lines about Timothee attracted the most feverish attention, such as the comment: ‘The way you hold my gaze makes me fear my own age.’
He also wrote, “Because something inside me says you’re going to offer me something, and for now I’m not sure it’s going to be something I want anymore.”
Social media went into a frenzy over the overheated passage, speculating that Josh had sexual plans for Timothee — and now Josh has shared his thoughts Vulture.

“I love that there’s a poem that they exploited into the idea that I wanted to sleep with Timothee,” the No Country For Old Men heartthrob said with a laugh.
“I’m like, ‘You’re getting away with it.’ The fact that I’ve been around for 40 years, and (Timothee) was someone who looked like a young basset hound when I first met him.”
Josh explained: ‘He’s absolutely gutsy and looks at this trajectory of what he’s become and what he’s going to continue to become.’
Barbra Streisand’s stepson discussed how he “knew Zendaya and Timothée, and then became attracted to Florence Pugh and Austin Butler, who I am absolutely in love with and have become very close to.”
Of his younger colleagues, he said kindly, “I love how much respect they have for the work, yet how much fun they have while working.”
Josh confessed, “It’s selfish. We have to stay here for three months. “I can’t look into a dark corner for three months,” he noted.
“So there’s a lot of fun going on, and then you go to this place, and then you do your job, and then you come out and have fun again. I found that very satisfying.’
Josh’s poem was first made public in the book Dune: Exposures, a behind-the-scenes book published to promote the highly anticipated film.

Josh described Timothee as ‘really an absolute raw guts, looking at this trajectory of what he has become, and what he will continue to become’; the pair are depicted in Dune: Part Two
In the film, Timothee’s character Prince Paul and Zendaya’s Chani engage in a steamy romance, set against the backdrop of their rebellion against an evil empire.
Chani is a tribal warrior who in part one is a siren from Paul’s dreams, but is now his comrade in an armed resistance struggle.
Paul has allied himself with the desert tribe of Chani in their common struggle against the imperial regime that oppressed its people and murdered his father, Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac).
As Paul trains as a warrior, he once again comes face to face with his old mentor Gurney (Josh Brolin), his family’s old weapons master.
The film was originally set to be released on October 20 last year, but due to several delays it didn’t end up hitting theaters until this Friday.
A number of postponements were implemented to work around the release dates of other films, with the latest delay coming due to the Hollywood strikes.
