Duncan James holds back tears as he is crowned Celebrity MasterChef winner with restaurant quality Christmas dinner: ‘This is one of the best things that has happened to me’
Duncan James was left stunned when he was crowned the winner of the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook Off on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old singer blew the judges away with his sensational Christmas dinner as he served up an exquisite turkey wellington.
Featuring beautiful golden pastry, the judges were amazed as they cut into the parcel to find perfectly cooked turkey and stuffing, with Gregg Wallace even likening the meal to a restaurant-worthy dish.
And it looked like all the star's Christmases had arrived at once as hosts John Torode and Gregg announced Duncan as this year's festive winner.
It seemed like Duncan couldn't believe the news as he looked visibly shocked and exclaimed, “Are you serious?!”

After appearing on the show in 2021, Duncan couldn't wait to call his mother after securing the win.
The star then told the cameras: 'I'm just so happy. This is one of the best things that ever happened to me.
'I haven't won anything for years and now I've won MasterChef at Christmas, one of the greatest accolades you can get.'
He added: “So I'm just really, really bubbly and so grateful. I'm a bit emotional.'
As he bit into Duncan's turkey, John asked, “Duncan, I'm coming to your house for Christmas next year.”
As Gregg told him, “That's amazing. I'm not kidding when I say I would expect food of this quality in a very good restaurant.”
John continued: 'Duncan's food was elegant, refined and captured the flavors and atmosphere of Christmas' and Gregg added: 'Today he showed skills that I would normally associate with a professional chef. And that's why Duncan is our champion.'
Duncan followed his main course with a spiced sticky toffee pudding with cognac-soaked dates and a sticky toffee sauce, served with clotted cream and berries.
It seemed like the actor couldn't believe the news as he looked visibly shocked and exclaimed, “Are you serious?!”
Duncan was joined on the show by fellow past contestants Love Island star Faye Winter, All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and actor and presenter Richard Blackwood.

Duncan rushed to hug Judge Gregg Wallace, who said of Duncan's food, “I would expect food of this quality in a very good restaurant.”
The star also hugged John who asked Duncan if he could come over for Christmas next year
