A man reportedly threw tiles off a roof and threatened police with a knife during a wild 22-hour siege in the NSW Central West region.
NSW Police charged the man, 33, with a series of serious offenses after he climbed onto the roof of a house in Provan Pl in Dubbo while he was reportedly on the run from officers.
A spokesman for NSW Police said he had been denied bail to appear before Dubbo local court on Saturday.

Officers from the Orana Mid-Western Police District are said to have spotted the man on patrol around 2 a.m. on Friday.
The man allegedly ran away and climbed onto the roof of a house.
According to the police spokesman, he was not known to the residents of the house.
The police allege that the man threatened officers with a knife and threw roof tiles at officers for almost 22 hours.

The siege ended after the man forced his way into the house’s roof cavity around 11:55 p.m. Friday night, with police deploying a taser after the man allegedly tried to grab a knife.
He faces nine charges, including throwing a missile at a police officer, assaulting, intimidating and obstructing a police officer, destroying or damaging property worth more than $150,000 and entering a person’s premises without legal excuse.
