Two cars have crashed into the gates of a regional airport.
The vehicles crashed into the terminal gates of Dubbo Airport, in west-central New South Wales, on Tuesday morning.
The local council said in a statement: ‘Dubbo Regional Council informs the community of an incident at Dubbo Regional Airport this morning.
Two vehicles have been used to break through the front doors of the airport terminal to gain access to the terminal.
‘Police are on the scene working with staff.
“Flights are not affected by this incident.”
Passengers have been asked to use an alternate entrance.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted police for comment.
