Dubai princess ‘appears to dump her husband by posting brutal Instagram message two months after welcoming their first child’

  • Reports revealed the post on the princess’s official Instagram account
  • The post criticizes her husband for being “busy with other pets”
  • They welcomed a baby girl just two months ago

A Dubai princess has shocked the UAE by dumping her husband in a brutal Instagram post just two months after they welcomed their first child, sources say.

In a post on the official account of Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the 30-year-old daughter of the ruler of Dubai, an impending divorce from her husband Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum was announced.

The post read: ‘Dear Husband, since you are busy with other companions, I hereby declare our separation. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you.

‘Watch out. Your ex-wife.’

It appears the two have unfollowed each other on social media and have deleted all posts in which they appeared together from their accounts.

They officially married over a year ago, in May 2023, and had a baby girl in May of this year.

There has been no official statement from the House of Maktoum, the royal family that rules Dubai and from which Sheikha Mahra hails. Many on social media have speculated that the princess’s account may have been hacked.

One social media user said: ‘I find it an encouraging feeling when a woman recognises her worth and confidently takes a stand.’

Another said, “This isn’t the beginning of a new chapter in your life. This is the beginning of a new book. Congratulations.”

Sheikh Mana is a well-known entrepreneur who has appeared in a photo with legendary footballer Ronaldinho and infamous social media personality Andrew Tate.

The two posts by the self-proclaimed misogynist were tagged with ‘#togp’, referring to one of his famous sayings.

According to Expatica, an online site that aims to help expats around the world, while adultery is a legal ground for divorce in the UAE, infidelity is a criminal offense, meaning the adulterer can be prosecuted.

However, ex-partners can divorce within a month, if they agree to a divorce by mutual consent. No legal reason is needed for this.

MailOnline has reached out to the Dubai government for comment.
