Anwar Hadid stepped out in NYC on Monday — hours after posting a series of disturbing messages on Instagram after his ex Dua Lipa went public with her new boyfriend Romain Gavras.
The pop star, 27, made her red carpet debut on Friday with the French director, 41, at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival, during a screening on the PDA.
Anwar, 23, who did not specify who the post was intended for, captioned a somber selfie with the disturbing message: “Try not to find and kill him” before posting more dark messages to his Instagram story.
Gigi and Bella Hadid’s younger brother looked gloomy as he smoked a cigarette while walking down the street with a friend.
He wore two T-shirts, khaki shorts and trainers that lit up his tattooed legs as he walked.

He also posted a duo of images that just showed the ground, with the caption, “I hate the way you say my name,” and a one-word message of “Hello.”
Among a slew of comments, a trio of fans wrote, “he’s obsessed… WHAT OMG… Oh what does he want from her,” while others wondered who he was referring to.
Anwar’s two-year relationship with the Grammy-winning superstar came to an end in 2021 The sun report that the couple reached a “crisis” because they “traveled so much.”
In March, sources claimed that Lipa and Gavras – who looked more in love than ever in their seaside bungalow on Sunday – had “been quietly getting to know each other for months.”
