Dua Lipa is set to play her biggest gig yet as she takes to Wembley Stadium next June – after wowing fans with her Glastonbury headline performance

According to music industry insiders, Dua Lipa will head to Wembley Stadium to deliver her biggest performance ever.

The 29-year-old English-Albanian star surprised Glastonbury audiences on Friday when she performed on the Pyramid Stage for the first time.

And it looks like the only way is for Dua, as this June she’ll be performing to her biggest audience yet before heading out on tour across the US.

Speak with The sunAccording to a source, Dua will perform in front of 90,000 people at Wembley next year, following in the footsteps of Madonna and most recently Taylor Swift.

“Her last tour was almost sold out, but it was an arena tour,” the source said. ‘Making the jump to stadiums is great, especially when she’s only on her third album.

‘It looks like she’ll be playing one date at Wembley in June and doing a full tour of America.’

The source said it will be an emotional moment for the pop star as it shows that the work she has put in since moving to London from Kosovo at the age of 15 has paid off.

After her ‘magical’ performance on the Pyramid Stage, Dua hosted a private backstage party where she thanked her inner circle and wished her mother a happy birthday.

But after the intimate festivities, Dua headed to gay club NYC Download in the festival’s Block 9, where she partied until 4am.
