‘Drunk’ woman is forcibly removed from Southwest Flight

Drunk woman is forcibly removed from her seat and dragged down the aisle of Southwest Flight after refusing to get off the plane

A woman who appeared to be intoxicated was removed from a Southwest flight from New Orleans in a dramatic clip posted online Sunday.

The woman is yanked from her seat by two law enforcement officers and dragged down the aisle of the plane, objecting, saying repeatedly, “I’m so confused what’s happening.”

According to the caption of the clip, which was posted to the Instagram account over the weekend ppv_tahoethe woman caused a disturbance on the flight and was asked to leave.

When she didn’t, agents were called in to remove her. “She was said to have been drunk, according to witnesses,” the caption read.

The incident occurred on a Southwest Airlines flight from Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans

As the woman, dressed in athleisure, was dragged from her window seat to the aisle, she begins to protest the direction things are going.

“Can I please have my phone?” she asks.

When it turns out she’s not getting her phone, she continues, “No, I literally need my phone, I paid for it.”

“I’m literally so confused what’s happening,” she says.

“Yeah, well we’re not,” a passenger replied.

All the while, passengers sitting in the surrounding seats watch, none seeming to protest the fate of the woman.

In the clip, passengers can even be heard expressing support for her eviction from the plane.

‘To get off!’ says someone as she is led away.

In the closing footage of the clip, one of the officers pulls out a pair of handcuffs and slaps the woman before being ushered into the final section of the plane.

It is unclear whether the woman was charged or was later allowed to board another flight.

Southwest Airlines has been contacted for comment.

New Orleans, a city known for its raucous ways and open container laws, may have gotten this woman on the head before boarding her flight home.

But this incident isn’t the only case where a passenger has been forcibly removed from a flight in recent weeks for questionable behavior.

A similar situation occurred last week when a ‘drunk’ and ‘aggressive’ woman who boarded a flight bound for Vegas yelled at other passengers when she had to leave the plane because of disorderly conduct.

The incident was filmed by a passenger who said the unidentified woman was “visibly intoxicated” and “acted aggressively towards staff.”

Last month, a female passenger was booted off a Frontier Airlines flight after fed-up passengers cast a vote.

The incredible moment happened on a flight from Trenton to Atlanta and was filmed and posted to TikTok.

A passenger in a red shirt and glasses was heard asking the packed cabin, “If you want her removed from the flight, raise your hand.”

‘I’m not joking. If you can hear me, raise your hand if you want her taken out of flight. I’m not kidding, I’ve got 40 hands up.”

The footage then showed several passengers with their hands up before the self-proclaimed leader of the platoon called for a guard to come over.

The bizarre incident happened after a couple, sitting a few rows in front of the woman who was voted out, had a verbal altercation with a flight attendant and were themselves kicked off the plane.

The video then showed the woman packing her things to leave the flight, which was delayed on the ground for about an hour.
