Two men mysteriously drowned in a hotel pool in Surfers Paradise over the Easter long weekend.
The men were found unconscious in the rooftop pool of the Top of the Mark Holiday Apartments in Surfers Paradise, southeast Queensland, just before 7pm on Sunday.
They were pulled from the pool by bystanders who performed CPR until emergency services arrived.
Paramedics worked on the men for some time, but were unable to revive them.
According to police, the double drowning is not considered suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
