Drone stops Thursday night football game between Bengals and Ravens TWICE as uninvited guest causes more chaos in a tumultuous game

As if this week’s edition of Thursday Night Football wasn’t chaotic enough with numerous injuries, there was an on-air distraction that caused the game to be postponed.
A remotely piloted drone was spotted flying over M&T Bank Stadium during the game between the visiting Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens.
First, the game was stopped around the 5:04 mark of the second quarter with the Bengals in crisis mode following an injury to quarterback Joe Burrow.
“Apparently there was a drone in the stadium, so they stopped playing,” play-by-play man Al Michaels said during the Amazon Prime Video broadcast before cameras panned to the quadcopter in the sky. “Please, let’s take a commercial break.”
Play resumed without incident for the remainder of the second quarter and third quarter – before being stopped again as the fourth quarter was about to start.

Michaels said game officials took an “administrative” timeout to wait before the drone cleared the area.
Both Ravens and Bengals fans wish this drone incident was the only drama of the night.
A total of six players appeared to suffer some form of injury this match, with at least two fearing lost playing time.
Ravens TE Mark Andrews went down on the first drive with an ankle injury that head coach John Harbaugh believes is a season-ending ailment.
Andrews’ quarterback – Lamar Jackson – also entered the ‘blue tent’ for evaluation, but returned to the game.
The same couldn’t be said for Burrow – who went to the locker room before halftime with a hand injury and didn’t play the rest of the evening. Backup Jake Browning took his place.
Additionally, Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt hit the showers early with a quad injury.
Other injuries befell Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Bengals defensive lineman B.J. Hill in what would become a 34-20 victory for Baltimore.
