Aussies divided over fiery moment dog walker berates two drivers for holding up traffic over a minor prang on busy street

The moment a man walking his dog scolded two motorists for blocking traffic after being stuck in a minor fender bender has been caught on camera.

The heated argument broke out on Liberty Street in Enmore, in Sydney’s west, with the man threatening one of the drivers saying he would dismantle her car.

A local resident captured the altercation as it unfolded and shared the footage on Instagram on Friday, dividing social media users over the interaction.

Some labeled the man a ‘hero’ for standing up for other motorists stuck in traffic, while others accused him of going too far with his outburst.

The heated argument broke out on Liberty Street in Enmore, in Sydney’s west, with the man threatening one of the drivers that he would dismantle her car.

The video showed the man walking his dog along a sidewalk when he passed a blue and red hatchback that stopped and blocked traffic.

The driver of the blue hatchback could be seen taking pictures of the crash as the man shouted at her to drive the car onto the side street.

Another driver told him “she won’t move, mate” as she took more photos of the wreck, prompting the man to launch into an expletive-filled tirade.

His tirade became a spectacle for locals and passers-by, as residents watched from their balconies.

He pointed back into the street and saw the “hundreds of people” the driver had been inconvenienced by the traffic jams along the street.

The woman responded to him as she approached the driver’s side.

“I swear to God I will dismantle your damn car,” the dog walker said.

Several social media users praised the man and labeled him a hero for standing up for other drivers.

‘Oon behalf of everyone Sydney driver, thank you,” one person wrote.

“The thought of getting out of the way, keeping traffic flowing and improving their own safety never occurs to them.”

“I can feel the boys’ frustration… They have a small stab that causes very minor damage and they stop right where the accident happened,” wrote a second.

“If your car is still running, turn onto a side street.”

A third added: ‘By threatening to dismantle the car he became my hero.’

Other users weren’t too keen on the man raising his voice and making the situation more aggressive

Other users weren’t too keen on the man raising his voice and making the situation more aggressive.

“He may be right but he went about it all wrong, he yelled at someone who wasn’t a threat to him and he didn’t help the situation,” one person wrote.

“Men don’t talk to women like that,” another wrote bluntly.

One user noted that he could have approached in a friendly manner instead, as some people “can’t handle it anymore after a prang.”

“I seriously doubt they went out of their way to stop a hundred cars,” they wrote.
