This is the heartwarming moment a driver saves a dog from being run over on a busy six-lane London road before reuniting it with its owner.
A man captured the occasion when he spotted a dog that appeared to be lost on the road while he was driving, and managed to retrieve it.
In the video posted to TikTok, the dog can be seen running across the roadway and the man behind the camera says: “There’s a dog, no, it has to save a man.”
He opens the car door and says: ‘Come here, where are you going?’.
The camera then shows the pet sprinting further away from another motorist who appeared to have gotten out of his vehicle.

The dog was spotted on a busy roadway in London by the man, who then tried to pick it up
Fortunately, the man finds the dog after running down a residential street away from the highway and is able to contact the owner
In the video posted to TikTok, the dog can be seen running across a roadway and other cars appear to stop
The camera pans to show how some of the following traffic appears to have stopped and the little white puppy is seen running down a street along the side of the road as other drivers get out of their bikes to watch.
The video switches to a residential street and the man behind the camera says, “Guys, I found it, I found it, I found it, oh my days…”.
The dog walks quickly down the path and then appears to run away from the man who can be heard saying, “Oh my god, look. Hello! Come here!’
After a chase, the dog stops in front of a house and the man manages to gently pet it and check its collar.
He tells the dog, “…We’re going to take you home now!”
The camera then pans to show the man carrying the dog, and he reveals that he has succeeded to contact the dog’s owner.
He says, “I just called her [the owner] and she was so happy, we’re going to mommy now…’
The dog is shown sitting in his vehicle and the man then happily sings along to the music while holding the pet.
Later in the video, he stops and the dog’s owner approaches the car.
The man says: ‘There she is, look mommy has come to save you, look mommy is there!’
The dog quickly ran away from the man on the roadway and headed towards a residential area
The owner was relieved to be reunited with her beloved pet named Marley and thanked the man for his efforts
He tells the owner, “He was on the highway…” as she takes the beloved pet, named Marley, into her arms.
She thanks the man and he explains how he tried to retrieve the dog.
The video was viewed more than 900,000 times and received thousands of comments.
One user commented: ‘The wildest car ride of its time.’
Another said: ‘If my dog ever gets lost, I want you to save him.’
