A driver was arrested after driving an SUV through the gate of the FBI’s Atlanta field office before attempting to run into the building.
According to the FBI, the unknown male suspect rammed the vehicle into the office gate on Flowers Road in Chamblee, Georgia, just after noon on Monday.
Jenna Sellitto, a spokesperson for the agency, said DeKalb County police arrested the suspect and took the driver to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
The FBI said a man attempted to follow an authorized vehicle through the gate but was stopped. He then ran out of the car and towards the building.

The officers in the car in front of the suspect got out and detained the driver, along with two other FBI agents who were on their way to lunch.
Photos of the red SUV showed the crushed car on top of the black and yellow striped barrier rising from the ground.
Another image showed officials around the scene as the car was packed onto a tow truck around 4 p.m.
The FBI said agents will follow procedures and check the car and that the investigation is ongoing. The driver could face state and federal charges.
No injuries were reported and it is unclear why the suspect tried to break open the gates and enter the government building.
