A Florida driver has gone viral after sharing a video of dozens of cars, including some expensive new vehicles, inexplicably left on the side of the road.
The driver, identified as John Asburywho describes himself on his TikTok as a “Florida boy who loves his family,” took a video of the line of vehicles that were all empty and parked on a roadside lawn in Davenport, a town about 30 miles away beyond. from Orlando.
Asbury captured footage of the mysterious scene using two- and four-door vehicles, SUVs, pickups, vans and tractor-trailers. One of the vehicles spotted was a BMW.
‘Well what the hell? They’re just always there. There’s no point,” he said. ‘Semi is parked here. These cars never move. Does anyone have an explanation?’

He also pointed out the garbage piling up on street corners.
‘Every time we come there is new waste. So it’s like a big garbage dump on the side of the road,” he said.
Asbury, who often posts on TikTok, joked that he has taken time to edit videos of his children’s births and fun videos, but was stunned that this video had the most views.
Asbury said there is almost a million dollars worth of vehicles parked there and just languishing there.
More than 6,900 people responded. Some gave their explanations as to why the vehicles were there, while others were astounded.
“HOA won’t let me park my commercial vehicle in the project so I leave my truck there on Tank and drive my car back and forth,” one person wrote.
“There’s a huge subdivision on the right. He doesn’t show it. “Everyone who has a truck parks it there because there is no room inside,” said another.
While others warned: ‘Stay off that road?’
Another TikToker Zach Zaxson posted a response to Asbury’s video, claiming the road in question was Tank Road, which borders Polk County and Osceola County.
Zaxson claims he lives near Tank Road and locals use it “as a parking lot.”
He explained that the trucks are owned by people living in the area and the other vehicles were parked there by truck drivers who changed vehicles.
“If you drive like a tractor-trailer, you can’t get into the neighborhood, so you have to park it outside and then you switch vehicles.
“Also, parking vans and extra vehicles and stuff that you don’t have room for, just park here on this main road – it’s kind of like a parking lot for people who live in this area.”
The TikToker explains why the vehicles must be parked outside
Polk County Sheriff’s Office PIO Brian Bruchey told DailyMail.com that based on the TikTok video, he cannot confirm that the location is actually Tank Road.
But he did say the parked cars appear to be on the Osceola County side.
“Again, I can’t confirm 100% that the video is from Tank Road, but during the month of September we received no traffic complaints about it,” Bruchey said.
He also said they have no jurisdiction over the vehicles parked there if that is indeed Tank Road.
According to a Facebook post, the area is near a school, a housing project and a mobile home. Due to the mobile homes there is limited parking, so that could be the answer to the mystery.
One disgruntled viewer joked: ‘Tank Road! Border of Polk and Osceola! It is a mess! There’s a school there!.’
Another responded: “These cars belong to the people across the street. They are current tags and registrations.”
“I agree,” said another, “but some of those cars almost have grass and weeds growing on them.”
When DailyMail.com contacted the Osceola Sheriff’s Office, PIO Ali Beth said they were “looking into the matter.”
