Driver, 23, is killed after stopping and getting out of his car at the Western Freeway at Truganina
A driver is wanted by Victoria Police in connection with the death of a man who got out of his car and was fatally struck on a highway.
The 23-year-old Thorn Hill man died on the Western Freeway near Truganina on Monday around 11:30 p.m.
He was seen driving a white Range Rover at high speed, which then crashed into a rope wire barrier, Detective Senior Sergeant Christian Von Tunk told 3AW radio.

The car then came to a stop near an exit. The driver then got out and was struck by another vehicle.
One witness has come forward to describe how she swerved to avoid the man as he drove on the highway, Mr. Von Tunk added.
He confirmed that one line of inquiry is that a truck hit the 23-year-old.
Anyone with a dashcam or other witnesses is asked to contact police.
