Drew Barrymore’s ex-husband Tom Green engaged to lookalike of ET star and gives her massive diamond ring

Drew Barrymore’s ex-husband Tom Green is engaged to someone who seems like a dead ringer for his famous ex, as the new fiancée showed off the huge diamond ring.

The 53-year-old prankster took to his Threads account on Sunday to share his happy news, 22 years after splitting from the 49-year-old ET star who recently shared that she was “so touchy” on her chat show.

Tom shared several adorable snaps of his new fiancée Amanda showing off her new ring with a large diamond.

He captioned the post: “Great news! Amanda and I are engaged! I am the happiest man in the world. I love you Amanda. Merry Christmas and Merry Christmas from all of us! [four red heart emojis]’

Tom didn’t provide any details about his new fiancée, including her last name, but a rep for the Freddie Got Fingered star told People magazine on Monday that Amanda grew up in his hometown of Petawawa, Canada.

Tom’s rep also told the Weekly that the two were both raised in Canadian military families and even attended the same military school as children, as they share a love of “country life.”

The star recently moved back to Canada after living in Los Angeles for more than two decades, where he bought a 150-acre wilderness estate and farm where he raises horses.

Their relationship timeline is unknown as it remains unclear when they first started dating, but the first time she appeared on his social media was a post on his Instagram from back in June.

At the time, he shared photos from a snowy mountain vacation with the caption, “Thanks to my amazing friend Amanda for the fun times out west, that was an adventure!”

He has been posting regular tributes to his partner since the summer, but has tried to keep their relationship and her personal details as private as possible.

Tom was married to Drew from 2001 to 2002.

In September 2000, the former couple reunited for an interview on her then-new talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.

The Charlie’s Angels star took a walk down memory lane with her former boyfriend after admitting it had been almost 20 years since their divorce, and “15 years” since they last spoke.

Drew recalled a happy time when she understood “what security and contentment feels like before you go to sleep” at Tom’s family lake house.

“You know, when you say twenty years, sometimes it’s a blink of an eye, and sometimes you think, ‘Oh my God, we’ve lived so much in the last twenty years.’ You’ve had a whole life and I’ve had a whole life,” she said.

‘It’s just really nice to get together, check in and talk about it, I just find it endlessly exciting. I think the world of you and I celebrates you and I always have and I always will.”

Tom and Drew married on July 7, 2001 after a whirlwind romance. They filed for divorce in December 2001, citing irreconcilable differences.

“It’s been too long, it’s nice to reconnect,” Tom said. “We haven’t spoken in fifteen years, I think, and this is really the first time we’ve seen each other face-to-face in fifteen years.”

Drew recalled how the former couple first met in 2000, when she was filming and producing Charlie’s Angels.

“One of the things that means so much to me professionally is because one of the reasons we met in the first place was because I admired your work so much and so I reached out to you and asked you to come and do You and Charlie’s Angels kindly said yes,” she said.

The Freddy Got Fingered star recalled that the pair “hit it off straight away” with their shared love of having fun.

“We laughed a lot together,” he said. “I think on one of our first dates we went to buy lobsters because we both love animals and we both had lobsters and we released them into the ocean. That’s what we decided to do.’

Drew recalled that Tom was the catalyst in her love of photography.

“You bought me a camera and I still have it, the Pentax K1000, and you got me started on what would be two decades of being a real photographer, and you got me through my whole Annie Hall phase of photographing, which is such a beautiful art,” she said.

Not to forget a valuable collectible, Tom brought out a personalized mug with a photo of Drew in a neck brace.

Drew admitted she was “so happy” to see Tom again after all these years.

“Yes, we’ve had a lot of great experiences and I’m grateful for them and I cherish them. Thanks Drew, I appreciate it,” he said.
