Drew Barrymore was treated to a nice surprise on Tuesday, two days before her 49th birthday.
The longtime actress — who recently opened up about her tumultuous past — looked adorable in a multi-colored pleated pastel dress while filming her eponymous talk show in New York City.
It was there that her co-star Ross Mathews and the rest of the television show crew surprised her with a ride on an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
Barrymore was seen leaving the hot dog-inspired vehicle with a big grin on her face.
While filming a special birthday episode of her CBS series, the light brown hair was styled in a side part and loose curls as she pulled the locks back.

Barrymore wore a pair of dramatic chandelier earrings with her light, bright ensemble.
The dress had a plunging design with a v-neck and shades of pink, peach, sorbet, yellow and turquoise.
She paired the fun look with a pair of satin, baby pink platform heels.
The former child star was typically beautiful in a face of warm, peach makeup.
Matthews, for his part, complemented Drew’s look with a velvet mauve blazer paired with a white shirt and a black bow tie.
He added black pants and shiny black patent leather shoes.
Ross’s hair was cut neatly short, with longer hair on top.
The Drew Barrymore Show co-star seemed just as enthusiastic and bubbly as his friend and boss, whose hand he held during the tense moment.

Drew recently shared that she had overcome some difficult years in her life.
She has been sober since 2019 and revealed this in an extensive conversation We weekly that she allowed herself to change her story.
“I’ve had a ‘bad girl’ story on my back all my life. I thought I deserved bad things. Now I am raising two daughters. I can’t do that to myself anymore,” she said of Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9, whom she shares with ex-husband Will Koppelman.
“Just like when I’m drinking, I take things one by one and say, ‘I can’t carry you anymore. You’re no good for me,'” she admitted.
She added that she started drinking when she was just nine years old, but one day in 2019 she thought, “I’m never going to do this again.”
‘I’m not hungry. I have alcohol everywhere in the house. I serve people drinks. It’s a confident choice. But it took me 35 years to get there. So once I got there, I was really done with it,” she said.
Still, she said getting sober was only part of the journey because she still had to “get in touch with why I drank so much.”

‘It was my coping mechanism. I loved the way alcohol gave me courage. The fear disappeared. You feel like an immortal who can do anything. And the next day you’re living in that chemical aftermath and you feel even worse,” she said.
“It wasn’t a new concept to me; it was something I knew my whole life didn’t work for me. I kept saying, “One day I’ll get the hang of this.”
“And sometimes it’s as simple as just getting so fed up with it that you spend most of your life wanting to do something, and then one day it finally clicks,” Barrymore shared.
She added that while her personal life has always been a “work in progress,” the professional in her “feels very brave and never entitled.” Always so privileged and grateful.’
