Drew Barrymore revealed to her fans on Instagram on Tuesday that she was Covid-free after testing positive five days earlier.

The 47-year-old Charlie’s Angels alumna told her 16.5 million followers that she’s spent the past few days “relaxing” and “doing well.”

Since her diagnosis, the Drew Barrymore Show host has had 50 Cent and Ross Matthews temporarily take over her hosting duties.

The Never Been Kissed actress shared a clip where she updated her status, followed by a few snaps to show how she spent her time while recovering at home.

Drew stated at the beginning of the video that she wanted to upload the reel “so you can hear and see me.”

“I’m virtually symptom-free,” she shared, adding that she’s focused on “relaxing” and “doing well.”

The mother-of-two added that she has been drinking a lot of “water, chicken soup” and a lot of “vitamins.”

She went on to explain that she has “no sore throat, no headache, no sniffling, tightness in the chest.” I feel completely normal.’

The Wedding Singer star added that she was feeling a little tired from everything else. I think my body is like, “Wait a minute, you were at infinite percent and then you went to zero.”

“I think that’s probably been the hardest adjustment,” Drew admitted to her fans and followers toward the end of the video.

The actress stated that she took doses of Paxlovid and, “I feel really cleared up.” Drew said she felt “like a vacuum has been put in my whole body, and I feel great!”

The beauty also added a caption to the post as she excitedly shared the good news. “I’ve been allowed to be around people since last night! I’m covid-free now!’

‘I feel so much better! Thanks for all the get well wishes. Here are some staples/moments from my time at home!’ she concluded.

The star also shared a few snaps of her cat and dog who had kept her company during her recovery.

Drew also uploaded headline posters from Netflix’s The Crown and HBO’s House Of The Dragon, which she had been watching. In another photo, she held up a handwritten “Get Well Soon” card she had received.

Last week, Drew revealed she had Covid and would be out of her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, until she recovers, adding that she feels “good.”

She announced that Ross Matthews and 50 Cent will be taking over her show until she’s back in the Instagram post the star shared earlier Thursday morning.

So only good news for reports!!! Maybe other special surprises too!’ Drew added, alongside a selfie from bed with her cat.

Drew lay on her bed wearing glasses next to her cat Lucky. The mother-of-two wrote: ‘I have covid and lucky cat! I’m fine and I’ll be back soon. Meanwhile, @helloross and @50cent are taking over. So only good news to report!!!!! Maybe other special surprises.’

Ross is Drew’s co-host on The Drew Barrymore Show and 50 Cent has previously been a guest on the talk show.
