Drew Barrymore kissed one of George Clooney’s closest friends.
While sitting with the Oscar-winning actor – which airs Friday on The Drew Barrymore Show – the beauty admitted that she fell in love with his hairstylist friend Waldo Sanchez, which was no surprise to George.
Clooney also said he completely understood because she just got divorced and needed to relax.

The conversation started when the 47-year-old Hollywood icon said, “I feel like good times follow you wherever you go.”
George, 61, replied: ‘Yeah, that’s because I drink. That’s a real problem, it’s going to be a problem.’
Drew then admitted, “I got so drunk doing Confessions of a Dangerous Mind that I kissed Waldo.”
She refers to George’s hairstylist Waldo Sanchez. George just offered, “I remember.”
They go way back: George added more: “We were in Montreal, we were all stuck there together and you had just gone through a divorce, remember, and you had just come over there and it was an emotional time for you and so it really felt like our duty to make sure you were all right, and that was nice.” Confessions came out in 2002, the year she divorced comedian Tom Green after a year of marriage

Drew then explained, “Waldo is George’s best friend, and they work together and yeah, the next day at work I was like, ‘Uh cool, ’cause everyone’s just so cool.”
George added more: “We were in Montreal, we were all stuck there together and you just got through a divorce, remember, and you had just come over there and it was an emotional time for you and so it felt real as a duty on us to make sure you were all right, and that was nice.’

Also during his Drew interview, he spoke to his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney with whom he shares two children, twins Alexander and Ella who are five years old.
The Ocean’s 11 actor looked back on how his love story began when he came over The Drew Barrymore Show.
“Well, it’s funny that she came to the house in Como with a friend of hers to visit and immediately I was like…” began the star who co-stars with Julia Roberts in the new movie Ticket To Paradise. .

The former ER hunk then went on to explain more about falling for the 44-year-old Lebanese-British lawyer at Doughty Street Chambers, which specializes in international law and human rights.
“The funniest thing is Bryan Lourd called me, he had just met Amal somewhere else and she said, ‘Yeah, I’m going to Como with a friend of mine,’ and he called me and he said, ‘There’s a girl coming over your home that you are going to marry,” the Kentucky resident added.
At the time, Clooney didn’t think that sounded good.

“I was like, ‘You’re an idiot. You know that’s not going to happen,” added the star who has dated Elisabetta Canalis, Céline Balitran, Lisa Snowdon, Krista Allen and Sarah Larson.
“And then Amal comes in and we stayed up all night talking and I started writing her a lot of letters,” the Money Monster actor said.
Drew then said, “Like pen and paper.”
George replied, ‘Yes, we still write letters. Leave them on the pillow.’
George has talked about his personal life while promoting his new rom-com Ticket To Paradise with Roberts.
On Monday, he said Universal is “brave” to release his film Ticket To Paradise in theaters.
The actor stars in the romantic comedy alongside Roberts and was grateful for the studio’s support during a difficult time for the film industry.
George told The Hollywood Reporter: “Universal has done something very brave.
“These things just go through streamers now and they’ve done a lot of bravery to make a movie like this. We are grateful. We are hopeful.’

Her Boyfriend: When asked about the best part of working with George, the Pretty Woman star said, “Having a backup, having a friend. “It’s one of those puppy jobs that involves so many people and then you’re sent out like this satellite to talk about it all by yourself. It doesn’t make much sense. And so, getting in line with someone makes it so much more fun’
The film follows George and Julia as a divorced couple who travel to Bali to sabotage their daughter’s (Kaitlyn Dever) wedding and avoid the mistakes they made 25 years earlier. Clooney already considers it a ‘huge success’.
The Up in the Air star said, “This is all fun. We are proud of the movie. We enjoy it. It’s already a hit and we already feel like it’s been a huge success.”
The film is the latest collaboration between Clooney and Roberts – after “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and “Money Monster” – and Julia always “loves” working with her friend.
