Drew Barrymore films a segment for her show in New York City with Courteney Cox and Melissa Barrera

Drew Barrymore filmed a segment for his talk show in New York City on Sunday night, joining forces with Courteney Cox and Melissa Barrera.

Barrymore, 48, who recently revealed her messy bedroom, wore a tawny suit and white blouse for the occasion, holding her own against the stylish duo of Cox, 58, and Barrera, 32.

Courteney appeared in a similar outfit to Drew, sporting a slightly lighter shade of khaki and rocking black leather boots.

The Friends icon appeared on Barrymore’s show to promote Scream VI with her co-star Barrera, who looked stylish in a yellow checkered ensemble.

The trio piled into the back of a car for the segment, where they appeared to be enjoying themselves.

Released in theaters on March 10, Scream VI will reportedly see the “most ruthless Ghostface ever,” according to the cast.

In a video posted to YouTube on Wednesday, star Jenna Ortega, 20, who plays Tara Carpenter in the film, said: “With each movie, Ghostface gets more and more intense.”

Several different characters have donned the Ghostface mask over the course of the film series, with their identities eventually being revealed.

However, Melissa Barrera, who plays Sam Carpenter, said: “This Ghostface is the most ruthless and he kills people for the sake of killing.”

They also said the “rules have changed” when a clip of the franchise’s villain was shown swapping his infamous knife for a shotgun in gory scenes.

Courteney, who reprises her role as Gale Weathers, recently revealed that she “missed” working with co-star Neve Campbell, who opted out of the last film due to a disagreement over salary.

“I missed working with her,” Cox said. Variety last month. “But I’m going to support whatever she thinks is right.”

Neve, 48, who played Scream mainstay Sidney Prescott, explained his reasoning over the summer, saying People: ‘I didn’t feel that what they were offering me was equal to the value that I bring to this franchise, and have brought to this franchise, for 25 years.’

Lots of laughs: Barrymore, Barrera and Cox piled into the back of a car for the segment, where they seemed to be having a blast.

Barrymore is also an alumnus of the Scream franchise, stars in the original film, and is killed in the first twelve minutes.

During his appearance on Hot Ones in 2020, Barrymore explained the reason for his untimely death in the first Scream, saying that he fought hard for his character to die from the very beginning.

“In the horror movie genre, the thing that bothers me the most is that I always knew that the main character was going to have problems at the end, but he was going to crackle up and make it.

“What I wanted to do is get out of that comfort zone,” Barrymore said. “I asked if it could be Casey Becker to establish that this rule does not apply in this movie.”
