Drew Barrymore announces she is touring Australia to share her life story: ‘It has been an extraordinary odyssey’
Hollywood star turned talk show host Drew Barrymore is heading Down Under.
The actress, 49, will tour Australia in August as part of wellness brand Wanderlust’s ‘True North’ event, where she will share her life story with audiences.
Drew, known for starring roles in Charlie’s Angels and The Wedding Singer, will attend the event as guest of honor at the ICC Sydney Theater on August 2 and at the Brisbane Convention Center the following day.
“My life’s journey has been an extraordinary odyssey, and I am absolutely thrilled to share my life story of my triumphs, setbacks and everything in between in Australia, one of my favorite countries, at Wanderlust True North,” she said in a statement.
Drew added that she was “excited” to appear on stage with a hand-picked line-up of celebrities, who have yet to be announced.

The Hollywood icon started her acting journey in early childhood and made a major impact with her role in ET.
Since then, she has consistently maintained top status throughout her career and achieved numerous box office successes.
Barrymore, known for starring roles in Charlie’s Angels and The Wedding Singer, will be the guest of honor at the ICC Sydney Theater on August 2 and at the Brisbane Convention Center the following day.

The actress transitioned into television presenting in 2020, when she became the host of her own syndicated talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show.
Drew has also been a strong advocate of wellness practices and mental health awareness.
Wanderlust chief executive Charlotte Hill welcomed the news, saying Barrymore is ‘an icon and loved around the world’.
The Hollywood icon started her acting journey in her early childhood and made a big impression with her role in ET Pictured on the cover of People magazine in 1989.
