Draymond Green ‘will be an unrestricted free agent after declining $27.5m player option’
Draymond Green ‘becomes an unrestricted free agent after refusing a $27.5 million player option’ as the four-time NBA champion looks set to leave the Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green looks poised to enter the free agent market – and may end his time with the Golden State Warriors.
The four-time NBA champion has only played for the San Francisco franchise, but that could all change according to multiple reports citing his agent, Rich Paul.
Green reportedly turned down his $27.5 million player option in favor of an unrestricted free agent.
“We will continue to talk to Golden State and explore all options,” Paul told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The NBA insider said the move allows Green to still engage with the Warriors and seek potential sign-and-trade deals, as well as the traditional path of free agency.
