Draymond Green returned to his old stomping ground over the weekend, as he was enshrined in the Michigan State Athletics’ Hall of Fame.
While on campus, the NBA star decided to take in a game of football on Saturday night, where an unsavory moment was caught on film before the game.
As players from Akron’s team went through their pregame process, one of the players was seen arguing with Green, who can clearly be seen goading the opposition. The Akron player would eventually be held back by teammates, and then coaches, while Green could be seen egging him on.

The clip, which has gone viral on Twitter, sparked frustration from many fans, with one noting: ‘Grown man professional athlete on the field instead of the sideline yelling at college athletes of a nobody school. Very weird energy.’
‘Yelling at kids, nice,’ was the response from another viewer, while a further critic added: ‘It’s borderline very weird cuz [sic] he’s 32 and that kid could be 18.’
Green played in 66 games during his four-year basketball career at Michigan State. His senior season he averaged 16.2 points and 10.6 rebounds.
He would go onto be drafted by the Warriors in the second round of the NBA Draft, and become an instrumental piece in their multiple recent championship seasons.
Throughout his career Green has been known for getting under the skin of not only opposing players, but also officials.

In the game on Saturday, Michigan State would go on to easily defeat Akron 56-0, in a match-up that seemed to have been over from the opening kickoff.
The Spartans advance their early season record to 2-0, as they try to build on last year’s 11-2 season that culminated in a Chick-Fil-A Bowl victory.
Green, on the other hand, will soon be starting training camp with the Warriors as they try to defend last year’s NBA Championship.
