Draymond Green faces a $5,000 fine for receiving technique number 17 after a heated altercation with Brandon Ingram and nearly receiving another second later in the middle of a fight with Herbert Jones in the Warriors’ win over the Pelicans.

Draymond Green was involved in a pair of heated altercations against New Orleans on Tuesday night, receiving a flagrant and technical foul, which will earn him a $5,000 fine.

Green committed his 17th technical foul of the NBA season, prompting the penalty, while gently shoving Brandon Ingram after a hard foul.

The four-time NBA champion was outraged by the call, yelling ‘How?’ repeatedly, clamoring for an explanation from officials.

Green initially lowered his shoulder to Ingram as he moved inside the perimeter. Ingram and Green then squared off before the pair lightly touched.

It resulted in a technical call, with Green’s push called fragrant 1.

Green’s legs were placed on top of Jones for a moment before the former Crimson Tide star got up angrily, before the teams engaged in another brief brawl.

Golden State ultimately earned a 120-109 victory over their Western Conference rivals, moving them to 40-37.

With just five games remaining on the schedule, the Warriors sit sixth in the West, with the same number of wins as No. 4 seed Phoenix.
